 I absolutely love the smell of scented candles. However, at times I find myself forgetting to blow them out. Forgetting to blow the candles out is not only dangerous but hits close to home. My house was purchased four years ago and I absolutely love it. However, during the purchasing process I found out it's been in a fire two times. The thought of a  fire is not only scary but can be prevented.

Candlewarmers.com offers a safe alternative. No flame. No fire. No risk. For the review I received a beautiful Illumination Fragrance Warmer (Blue Fluer De) which retails for $15.99. And four Jamie Clair Wax Melts which retail between $2.99 and $4.99. With Halloween around the corner I immediately opened the 'Pumpkin Spice' scent and laid the melts onto of the warmer. Within seconds I could smell the yummy scent and it quickly filled my entire downstairs and upstairs of my house. When I need to re-fill the warmer next time I'll have to remember a little goes a long way. I used half of the package for the melts and I'm sure I could of gotten away with using a fourth or and eight of it.

It's amazing how much an area rug can change the look and feel of a room. My sons room is fairly bland it has a toddler bed, his dressers, and toy area. Needless to say it needed a little spunk. How adorable is this? Not only did I receive chocolates.. but I received a engraved box with my name on it. Gortons Seafood...

KEEP GOING

I'm trying, it's really hard and I can't wait to accomplish a twenty pound drop. A friend of mine convinced me to try Advocare. And today would be day five. I haven't dropped any weight yet. But, I have cut back on calories and I've worked out for about thirty minutes a day. Doesn't seem like much. However, each day I add on a few minutes longer or a few more reps! I've seen a lot of Advocare photos via Google lately.However, I haven't met anyone or spoken with anyone who's not a Representative of the product for their true opinion. A day before I began using Advocare I snapped a few photos in a two piece (scary). I'll hold these hostage until the 24 day challenge is over. 

During the beginning of the program it's a little complicated. It seems like the first ten days you 'flush' the toxins out of your body and during the remaining 14 days you take a shake, vitamins and an energy drink supplement. I didn't measure myself. However, I'm sure if anything changes you will notice in the photos. By chance I do NOT lose weight you will NOT be seeing these photos ;)

Reuseit.com has a variety of awesome and Eco-friendly lunchboxes. I had the opportunity to test out of the Bento Box Set with Carrying Case 2.0 by Laptop Lunch which retails for $43.95. This particular Bento Box comes in two patterns (flower & aliens).

 

I work from home and on occasion I do go into the office. But when I do go into the office  I can see myself taking this with me. It's definitely functional and reusable. I love the single use containers and the fact that I'm not adding more waste to our landfills. With an insulated carrying case and five microwave safe containers you will have more than enough space to have a hearty and satisfying lunch. You will not find a trace of phosphates, bis-phenol A (BPA), or lead from this company. And the products proudly made in the USA!

I love the intense colors and the cute spoon and fork which are included. This case has about two inches of spare room which should be more than enough space for an ice pack or a small drink. This can be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder as a strap is included.

Meesh & Mia Reviw: Collegiate Apparel

Meesh & Mia offers women's collegiate apparel that's new and fresh. Their unique designs suit every woman and her desires to celebrate her school with loyalty. Meesh & Mia was recently on the Today Show which featured their Faux Wrap Top. For the review Meesh & Mia offered to send the asymmetric zip front jacket in black to me. Of course, being from Iowa and loving the Iowa Hawkeyes I choose my local team. The University of Iowa Asymmetric Zip Front Jacket is available for purchase in black and in grey. It's offered in sizes small through x-large and it fits true to size. This jacket is soft and warm and it does not weigh you down. The only downside I found was in the collar. I had a hard time keeping the collar adjusted to show the little Hawkeye symbol. Personally, I love this company and I find it to be very unique. I've walked downtown Iowa City on multiple occasions and I've never ran into anyone with a jacket as cute as this.

Grow-Up! booster seat by Mutsy! It's perfect! (Review)

Aiden and I had the opportunity to review and test out the Grow-Up! booster seat by Mutsy! His old highchair took up a lot of space in my kitchen and it was an eyesore. I used it during Thanksgiving as we went to a few dinners and it was easily transportable and an ease to clean. This chair weights 3.74 pounds and its 15.6 x 12.4 x 11.4. The Puzzle Stool is one of a kind as it is handmade to personalize your childs name up to 9 letters in length. Children have the ability to practice and learn their own name by arranging the letters in the puzzle. This is also really neat as it acts as a timeout stool when your child's throwing temper tantrums. Since this is handcrafted and custom-cut it can take 3-5 weeks to arrive. On the positive note, this can be ordered by 11/28 to arrive in time for Christmas.

Aiden, loved flipping the stool over and banging the wooden letters together. He laughed, giggled and ran around the stool a million times like a speed racer.  I would highly recommend this product and the company CPTOY!
