Ecover: Powered by Nature Review!

Ecover may not be that familiar to many Americans, but the Belgian company claims to be the world's largest supplier of green cleaning products. With more than thirty years under their belt. Ecover has been and will always be dedicated to making products without the harsh chemicals that other companies tend to use. Ecovers products are made from powerful plant-based and mineral ingredients. Obviously, I'm always looking for ways to make my life a little 'greener'. Especially when it comes to cleaning. Personally, I hate all the strong chemicals that other cleaners give off.

And of course when I was given the chance to review a few items from Ecover I jumped on the opportunity to do so. I love lemons and the Natural ALL PURPOSE  cleaner had me craving for a glass of ice water with lemon slices. It smelled fabulous and my kitchen had a light fragrance of lemons after cleaning my stove and counter-tops. I'd highly recommend this company for your own good and the good of others. Save the planet one product at a time.

Ecover has received numerous awards over the years, including one from the United Nations, and the company built one of the world's first green factories, back in 1992.Ecover products are widely distributed and you can find your local retailer at: www.findecover.com. For the majority of my readers who love shopping online spend $40.00 or more and you can receive free standard shipping. Visit: www.ecover.alice.com.

Outdoor SolarStore.com has many solar powered items to choose for your outdoor needs. You can find Solar Lamp Post Lights, Solar Attic Fans, Solar Spot Lights, Solar Flood Lights, Solar Flag Lights, Garden & Patio Lights, and last but not least Solar Christmas Lights!

They were kind and sent me a set of Multi-Colored Lights which are conveniently powered by the sun. They have auto on/off at dark and they can be set to solid or blinking. The MSRP is $35.75 for this particular item. Right now,  it's currently on sale for $28.00. Considering how many lights you see out and about around the Holidays you may wish to look into this company. Not only will you save money you will also save our planet. Saving the earth one bee at a time (Bee Free Honee Review)

There are so many types of bees but only one makes honey, the Honey Bee. Honey Bee's use pollen for food and they are the most efficient pollinators. It's a very sad fact that Honey Bee's may soon become extinct. If this were to happen it could take a drastic toll on our food supply! Some say this is an ecological crisis that threatens to bring global agriculture to a standstill. Did you know Honey Bee's are responsible for over 90 crops?

Honey Bee's pollinate apples, berries, cucumbers, nuts, cabbages and even cotton. Studies show that bees are dying in the millions. If bee colonies continue to decline at the current rate we will struggle to put food on the table and clothes on our backs.

Colony collapse disorder (CCD) is a phenomenon which worker beers abruptly disappear. The cause or causes of this syndrome are not yet fully understood. Considering they are responsible for over one third of the United State's crops it's something we need to address.

I was recently introduced to Bee-Free HONEE which is a unique sweetener with a slight tart flavor. In all reality this is an "applehoney" which is produced from apples rather than bees! Three all natural ingredients are used to make Bee-Free HONEE: apples, pure cane sugar, and lemon juice. You will not find anything artificial and no added color or corn syrup.

Bee Free Honee is great for:
  • Vegans

  • Small Children, as there is no fear of Botulism

  • Those allergic to traditional honey

  • Foodies looking for a new flavor

Bee-Free HONEE has a great taste and it's an amazing product for our Eco system. It can be used in BBQ sauces, hot and cold beverages, vinaigrette's, granola, cakes, breads and basically anything you would use honey in.

Save money with SKOY Cloths!!

I had the opportunity to review the SKOY Cloth. The SKOY Cloth is an amazing reusable cloth that can be used over and over again. It is absorbent, biodegradable and a natural multi-use cloth. Of course, this is an eco-friendly and earth friendly item for the house, which is perfect for the kitchen or bathroom. You can easily use a SKOY Cloth instead of a paper towel, sponge, dish rag or a bath towel which in return will save the earth and your pocketbook.

This is a European made product and it is 100% biodegradable. The SKOY Cloth is made from a natural cotton and a wood based cellulose pulp. It is also chlorine free.

It's very durable and can last months. It is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average home. A SKOY Cloth can absorb 15X it's own weigh and can be washed. It also dries supper fast. This can be washed in the dish washer and dried in the dryer. You can also microwave the SKOY Cloth daily to keep it germ-free. You will need to microwave it for 1-2 minutes. This will help with any smells and bacteria left behind.
I really enjoyed using the SKOY Cloth and I loved the fact that it was perfect for the earth. Let alone, it was simple to use and saved me money.
