Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort: America's Largest Waterpark Review!

Family means the world to me and recently we had the opportunity to visit The Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Let me tell you, this water-park has officially become one of our yearly vacation destinations. With plenty of slides, an amazing wave pool, relaxing lazy river and several toddler friendly play and spray areas to keep the young and those young at heart entertained, you will surely want to visit The Wilderness Resort again and again.

Upon arrival, we noticed how friendly and thorough the guest service staff were. They definitely set the tone for a very positive experience. We arrived fairly early in the afternoon, and the fabulous staff worked with us in getting the room cleaned and ready within minutes. They also offered all the necessary information including a map, directions to the closest entry point in our room, and water-park passes to kick off our adventure.

The Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells is an amazing vacation destination for year round fun. With over 500,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor waterparks (spread across 4 indoor and 4 outdoor waterparks)my only regret was not having more time to explore all the perks that the Wilderness has to offer. Being very well known for it's indoor and outdoor waterparks, including but not limited to the nation's largest wave pool, the Wilderness offers other super cool entertainment including: laser tag, pottery painting, zip line tours, mega arcade, indoor rope course, 3-D black light mini golf,and Timberland Play Park. And, for those who absolutely love golfing, there's Wild Rock, an award-winning championship 18 hole golf course and The Woods 9-hole family golf course. Personally, I absolutely loved the ice cream parlor and coffee shops! They also have lots of gift shops, a candy store and restaurants.

Forthose interested in fun other than the indoor and outdoor water parks, I'd suggest purchasing a Wild Fun Pass. This card allows admission per the indoor attractions at one low cost and it can be used by anyone in your party until you've used up the card.The Wilderness is clean, comfortable and offers something for every size party to keep guest comfortable. We are looking forward to visiting yearly and creating more memories while enjoying family time at the Wilderness Resort.  We had a blast and I'm sure your family will too!
