Nutrisystem: Week #17. 70% diet 30% exercise?

All too often, people ask me how I lost weight. I cannot stress enough. It's almost all nutrition to losing weight and toning up. Cut the crap out of your diet and the fat will come off. Prior to working with Nutrisystem I lost thirty-five founds on my own while managing a 1,000 calorie diet and I hit the gym approximately five or six days a week. My body felt deprived and with lack of calories and such hard work trying to get into shape I wasn't seeing the results I expected. Since working with Nutrisystem I've been able to lose and maintain a healthier weight while reducing my time at the gym and upping my calories.

It's true, fat is shed from all parts of your body. From your face down to your toes. You can't expect fat to fall off one part of your body without it coming off the others. I'm sure your already beginng to think of your troubled areas. Go to the gym and workout seven days a week and continue to eat crap. You won't lose fat. You may gain some muscle under the fat. That's the honest truth and I know this from experience. If you want the results, you'll have to be honest with yourself about how hard your willing to work to hit your goal and what your willing to eat to get there.

Stop making excuses today. Work hard and be disciplined. Have a little patience and you will see results. If losing weigh and looking great happened over night no-one would be unique.

TRUTH: 1 lb of muscle weighs the same as 1 lb of fat, a pound is a pound. The difference between the two is that they look very different. 1 lb of fat takes up more space than 1 lb of muscle.

  1. I've never tired a packaged meal system. I'm up for it. It's hard to pick between the few that are out there. If only they sent samples. Right?

  2. I agree regarding the foods. I wished Nutrisystem offered more frozen / fresh fruit-vegetables.
