Kair Bath Visor: Protecting your eyes from shampoo/conditioners!

Wow! It's been awhile since I found a product that is useful that I absolute love. Kair sent a blue bath visor for Aiden to review and let me tell you this is one practical item every mother needs to receive at her baby shower. It definitely kept water and soaps from running down my son's face and causing him to cry.

As a mom I remember growing up using Johnson and Johnson No More Tears Baby Wash. Today, this product is still on the marketing potentially harming our young children. These innocent souls are being cleansed in harmful additives. Being the number one choice of hospital nurseries and parents. Everyone recognizes the plastic yellow bottle as being 'pure and gentle'. Needless to say, it's not that pure or gentle. The bottle we've all grown up with contains unnecessary toxins that can harm our babies.

I bet you didn't know Johnson and Johnson No More Tears was listed on the Toxic Tub Report and this campaign has been urging Johnson and Johnson to remove formaldehyde-releasing chemicals from their baby products for over two years. Also, Johnson and Johnson has two different formulations of the product. The formula sold in the US, China and Indonesia contain the toxin. While the same product sold in the UK, Denmark and Japan does not.

The chemicals in question are 1,4-dioxane, a known carcinogen, and quaternium-15, a preservative that releases formaldehyde, also a proven carcinogen. The Baby Wash also contains numbing agents to make the product “tear free”. Johnson and Johnson is not required to list these ingredients on their labels under current US law. This means that even though J&J manufactures products in the US, they are not subject to the same scrutiny of other consumer products, including children’s products and toys.

Luckily, there's a safe alternative. Kair created a hands-free visor that is suitable for all head sizes, that's guaranteed to not leak and to be comfortable. Now, you can use your ordinary shampoo/conditioner without the fear of burning your little one's eyes or choosing the alternative 'NO MORE TEARS'.

Kair looks like your ordinary visor with a patented unique air cushion which seals like an inner tube. I figured my son would despise this product as he hates anything that constricts or interfers such as socks or tags.  Aiden was beyond thrilled and loves his new Kair Bath Visor. He thought it was fun to use and I thought it was helpful.

You could always purchase Johnson and Johnson No More Tears if you don't mind the toxic affects of the product. I'd personally take the safe route and purchase the Kair Bath Visor.
