Product Review: Melissa and Doug Classic Toy (See & Spell).

Recently, I received a product to review from Ebeanstalk.com. I was asked to try the product out with my son and to review it with the pros and the negatives.

The Melissa and Doug Classic Toy (See & Spell) is an educational learning toy for children four and up. The package states this toy is not intended for children under three years of age due to a choking hazard. The See & Spell has 8 double sided spelling boards and over 50 brightly colored wooden letters included. This toy helps mothers and fathers teach letter and picture recognization as well as well as letter sounds and color recognization. It can also tune up a child's fine motor skills; encouraging the child to problem solve.

The 8 panels include words that are three and four letters in length. The following words and pictures are included: bus, bird, cake, car, cow, fish, frog, and tree. My child had fun learning and making the sounds for the cow and frog.

My step-mother was a little concerned of the origin of the product due to a recent outbreak in children's toys produced in China. I researched online and found the following information on the toys package: 'All Melissa & Doug' products are carefully crafted using non-toxic coatings and meet or exceed all U.S. toy testing standards.'

Ebeanstalk is a educational and fun filled website that does an amazing job providing customers with the best toys by age. They stay informed about the newest and best learning toys. With a new baby on the way and a few friends who are expecting shortly I have been shopping frantically for baby gifts. Does your child have a toy they are unable to leave the house without? Or an educational toy that has worked like magic? Check out Ebeanstalk and tell them about it!
