Regal Springs Tilapia. All natural, no mercury and gluten-free. Recipes and Review.

Eating well is good for your mental as well as physical health. The brain requires nutrients just like
your heart, muscles and lungs do. Fish is well known for boosting your brainpower and with that being said Tilapia has risen to the top as a seafood staple on American dinner tables. Recently, I was introduced to Regal Springs. They offer the freshest, all natural Tilapia fillets on the market. What makes Regal Springs stand out from the others on the market? Their cage raised Tilapia swim with the lake currents and are fed a  high-quality diet made from US-grown Soy Beans, Premium Grains and Cereals. Which results in a firmer, clean tasting Tilapia fillet which is free from chemicals, hormones and antibiotics.

With the recent scare of mercury and contaminants in our fish supply this has led some fish lovers to
lay-low or completely avoid eating fish. However, Regal Springs not only test their waters once but multiple times to guarantee their Tilapia contains no mercury or other contaminants. Their fish are safe for all consumers, including pregnant or nursing women and young children. Inherently Gluten-Free, Regal Springs gives your family the peace of mind. Cooking fish is not only healthy, but easy and rewarding.

With that being said, I absolutely love to cook from scratch and prefer to offer my family healthy meal options. Tilapia, can either be dressed down or up. It really varies on your preference. Some people eat it plain -- cooked, fried or baked. Others like myself, add panko/Parmesan. The possibilities with Tilapia are endless. You can definitely get creative and Regal Springs has a few mouth watering Tilapia Recipes on their site. With 10lbs. of Tilapia in my freezer, I'm sure I'll have to try a few of these very soon. This company has great communication, fast turnaround time and the fish is absolutely delicious. Try Regal Springs for yourself!

We have smart cars. Why not have smart dolls? My Friend Cayla's one of a kind! #Review

Children absolutely love dolls and I wont lie my son actually has a boy doll that he babies from time to time. Some may think this is absurd. However, I see it as practical and a life skill that everyone should learn. Having compassion for another person or pet is PRICELESS. When I was introduced to the new My Friend Cayla doll, I knew my nieces and son  would be ecstatic to try her out!

Cayla is the world's first real talking doll. She knows millions of things. When online she not only listens to you but answers your questions. She can also spell words and calculate math. She really a one of a kind doll. We have smart cars, smart phones so why not have smart dolls?

In order to play with Cayla, you will need to download the app to your electronic device. Both, Apple and Android apps are available and free of charge. First, turn Cayla on and then pair your Bluetooth to the app. For some, this may be a bit tricky but manageable. Cayla, works best in a quiet room and once she's been turned on she's ready to play and listen. How will you know she's ready to play? That's easy, Cayla has a pink necklace that will light up informing you that she's on and ready. You can also easily adjust the volume through your phone and on Cayla herself. If she talks to much you can simply adjust the frequency.

This dolls an amazing addition to the family and I had nothing negative to say about Cayla. You can find out more about My friend Cayla on their website, facebook, and even watch a video on youtube.

Six Truths about Being an Egg Donor #SPON

North America's leading surrogacy agency, Family Source Consultants, highlights six things you didn’t know about egg donation

Egg donation is one of the most selfless deeds, helping to create a life or lives for a couple or individual who would otherwise be unable to have a family. However, if you’re considering donating your eggs or using an egg donor to have a child, it’s important to educate yourself thoroughly about the process involved.

Family Source Consultants screens and facilitates egg donations, as well as partners egg donations with intended parents.

Staci Swiderski, Co-Founder of Family Source Consultants, says: “I’ve actually been an egg donor twice and some other Family Source team members have donated their eggs multiple times, too. There are emotional aspects that accompany parenthood via egg donation so egg donors and intended parents must know all of the facts before embarking on such a journey.”

Here are six truths about being an egg donor:

  1. There are three types. Anonymous donation, where egg donors are not given any information about the recipient parent/s, however, they can usually find out whether or not a pregnancy occurs if they wish; semi-open egg donation where egg donors may be given some very basic information about the recipient parents (for example, first names and ages) or open egg donation, where once the recipient parents express interest in an egg donor, all parties have a relationship with each other and keep communication channels open, potentially throughout the life of the child/children born via the egg donation.
  2. Egg donors have to be aged 21 to 31. An initial screening process takes place to ensure the donor is also in healthy physical condition and to confirm that they are a good candidate for egg donation. This includes an evaluation of hormone levels and testing for genetic diseases, HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases - a donor's spouse or partner might be tested too if applicable.
  3. There might be psychological counseling for all parties. A donor will meet with a mental health specialist who specializes in third party reproduction and be administered a psychological assessment test. When applicable, a donor's spouse or partner might be required to meet with the psychologist as well.
  4. Both parties should be legally protected. Upon passing the screening process, an egg donor and intended parents will work with a reproduction attorney to review a contract. This legal phase must be completed prior to a donor beginning any injectable medications to prepare for the egg retrieval.
  5. Egg Donation is a big time commitment. Egg donors follow a stringent medication protocol, consisting of injectable medications. Learn more about the medical process involved here.
  6. Egg Donors receive compensation for their time and efforts. This is usually between $5000 and $10,000 and egg donors can donate up to six times in a lifetime.

Wilderness Resort Announces Plans for First Slideboarding Rides in the Midwest!

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Wilderness Resort’s management team announced today that they are converting two of their current tube slides in the Klondike Kavern Indoor Waterpark into state-of-the-art, interactive Slideboarding systems. The Claim Jumper Challenge will offer a real life gaming experience within a waterslide.

According to Joe Eck, general manager for Wilderness Resort, “These new Slideboarding systems are so cool that when we experienced one in Las Vegas, we knew we had to be the first waterpark in the Midwest to have one!”
The slideboards resemble surfboards with handles that riders sit on. On each of the handles, there are two colored buttons that serve as the game’s controllers. As riders adventure down the waterslide, they encounter a series of flashing red, yellow, green and blue lights. The goal is to press the colored button on your slideboard that corresponds with the colored light that is lit at the exact time your board passes under it. If it is done at the correct time a rider will get the maximum amount of points and the handles of your board will vibrate to alert the rider of their bullseye accuracy. A leaderboard in the waterpark will let guests see how they did and where they rank against other riders. As riders get  better at Slideboarding, new and challenging levels will be unlocked.
“Another cool thing about Slideboarding, and what makes this ride interactive,  is that there is an app for your smartphone or tablet which you can download in advance of your stay to start practicing and to set up your own user account and rider preferences,” says Eck. “The app features an exact replica of the Wilderness slide so you can get the hang of how Slideboarding works and start to advance through its 60 levels. When your vacation is over, you can still have fun using the app.”
The Slideboarding system is the creation of WhiteWater, the original waterpark and attractions company. Industry experts are saying it is revolutionizing the waterslide industry by combining it with a smart gaming system that knows who you are and tracks your progress and scores through your run down the waterslide. There are currently only four Slideboard systems in the country in Las Vegas, the Poconos, Williamsburg, and Denver. It is designed to appeal to a wide variety of guests, from thrill seekers and gamers to moms and grandparents, offering excitement without being risky or feeling physically challenging.
“It’s not just about the thrill but the skill,” says Eck.
The installation of the specialized LED lighting and other equipment for these slides will begin in September and will be completed by the end of the year. Klondike Kavern will remain open on the weekends throughout the construction process.  However, all of the tube and body slides on the tower where the Slideboarding will be located are going to be closed during construction. The Hurricane thrill slide will remain open, as will the lazy river and the interactive play structure in the middle of the park.
“We want to thank everyone in advance for their patience while The Claim Jumper Challenge project is being completed,” says Eck. “We know it is going to be worth the wait.”
The Wilderness Resort consists of over 600 wooded acres in Wisconsin Dells and is home to Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, which features 444 guest rooms, 40 Vacation Villas, 76 Frontier Condominiums and 35 cabins. It is also home to Wilderness on the Lake which features 108 luxurious two and three bedroom condominium units overlooking Lake Delton; and Glacier Canyon Lodge, which features 460 upscale condominium units.
Combined, these three properties offer four indoor and four outdoor waterparks that total nearly 500,000 square feet – that’s over 12 football fields of extreme water fun! The Resort is also home to Wild Rock Golf Club; The Woods 9-Hole Executive Course; Dodge ‘Em City; Timberland Play Park, a 35,000 square-foot, four story adventure with ball blasters, slides and crawl spaces; the OK Corral Lazer Tag Arena; Marshall Training Lazer Maze; The Wild Abyss and Wild Buccaneer indoor 3-D black light mini golf courses; bumper boats; indoor and outdoor go-karts and kiddy-karts; Wisconsin’s first canopy zip line tour; Northern Lights Sky Ropes Course and outdoor Jurassic mini golf.

USA Today's 10 Best Competition has named Wilderness Resort:
• #1 in the best Outdoor Water Parks category!
• #1 (for Ransack Ridge) AND #10 (for Fossil Falls) in the Best Water Park Kids' Area category!
• #2 in the Best Indoor Water Parks category!

Focus Pointe Global

For moms, it can be tough to make extra money, especially when balancing work, kids, pets, and whatever else life throws your way on a daily basis. As expenses pile up, the opportunity to make some extra money can be really hard to find. Some moms turn to selling used items on eBay or having a garage sale, but have you ever thought of participating in focus groups or other market research opportunities?

Did you know the products and services you and your family use every day come to market as a result of marketing research? Companies rely on the opinions of consumers like you to test their products, evaluate TV programming, weigh in on social issues, conduct mystery shops, and participate in mock juries, to name a few. If you see a product on the store shelf or a commercial for a political candidate, chances are the final result came about based on the feedback offered in focus groups.

In the U.S., there are 75 million mothers, all of whom influence 85 percent of their household purchases. With all that buying power, it stands to reason that companies turn to marketing researchers to make sure that their products are meeting your needs and expectations. What's more, Atlanta is a hub for researchers due to the cross section of demographics represented in the population.

Registering to participate in focus groups is a painless process. One of the top companies conducting opinion research is Focus Pointe Global, a national company with a location in Atlanta. They have an interactive website for their panel members at http://bit.ly/fpgmom, where you can register and fill out your profile. Once that is done, you will almost immediately receive an email invitation to take a screener survey to see if you qualify for a particular research study. The studies are on a wide variety of topics, including baby products, social issues, taste tests, appliances, beverages, cell phones...just about anything you can think of. Participating in a focus group or product tests is a fun and easy way to earn some extra spending money - from $75 to $100 for only a couple of hours of your time.

Another way you can participate in marketing research is online or by phone. Focus Pointe Global conducts webcam focus groups, telephone interviews, online surveys, online communities, and a lot of other methods as well. They even have an online product review program, where you are sent a product to use (and keep!) and you write an objective review on the company's website.
Whether you are able to participate in marketing research in person at the Atlanta research facility or by going online, there are a lot of opportunities to make some extra money and have fun while doing so! Go to http://bit.ly/fpgmom to register.

My Friend Teddy (Genesis Toys) will entertain your little ones for HOURS! #Review

My Friend Teddy, will entertain your little ones for hours. This adorable teddy bear loves to be tickled and has an app which can be downloaded on iTunes or Google Play with several stories and songs to listen to. My Friend Teddy not only encourages your little one to play he also has an effect of causing your little one to giggle. Like all toys, you will need 3 AAA batters that are not included. However, if your like myself you probably have a few laying around the house.

Once My Friend Teddy is charged with battery power it's encouraged to download the app to your phone or tablet which is really easy and requires no effort. The last step is a little trickier than the prior but it's not too difficult. This step request personal details such as your child's information: name, age, favorite foods and colors. This required a little time as their were five or so pages of questions which needed to be answered. The more details you provide to My Friend Teddy the easier it is for Teddy to interact with your child. So, as you can guess I answered all the questions.
Technology can seem like a blessing or a disaster at times. If you are determined -- it shouldn't be an issue whatsoever.

Teddy speaks in English as well as Spanish which is very beneficial. Although, the set up was a tid bit annoying I'm glad I followed through as this may just be one of my sons favorite Teddy's. He absolutely loves My Friend Teddy and I'm sure your little one or someone special in your life would enjoy Teddy as well.

fullbeauty SPORT Review #SPON

With an A+ BBB rating, fullbeauty has a lot to offer for those like myself who were blessed with a larger chest or full figure. The premier fashion destination for size 12+ offers a wide variety of stylish plus size tops, bottoms, dresses, swimwear, beauty  and even shoes to choose from. Working from home, I love to be comfortable and when offered to review the Glamorise Firm impact zip-front active by by Glamorise® I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

This bra is offered in three colors: black, white and pink/black and in sizes 38B up to 46F. With a locking zipper, this plus size high impact locking zipper sport bra not only supports your bust but does it without wire. And on top of that it has an awesome moisture wicking feature to keep your body cool and dry. I absolutely love these features. However, I found a few faults which included the comfort factor and the shape of my breast when wearing it.

This bra offers such great support but the comfort lacks with this feature -- and the shape of my chest appeared 'cone-like'. With this being said, the company's amazing and the shipping seemed rather fast. Try this bra for yourself  and feel free to share your two cents!

VEGAS PUB CRAWLER, the ultimate pub crawl in Downtown Las Vegas that is on a BIG bike! #Review

Vegas, is a destination I tend to visit several times a year. It never gets old and always has a new adventure awaiting. VEGAS PUB CRAWLER, offered myself and a guest the time of our lives filled with music and laughter while meeting other individuals on the same mission to have a little fun while visiting Sin City! This is the ultimate pub crawl and is perfect for bachelor/bachelorette  parties, birthday parties, weddings and corporate events.

With over ten pubs to choose from and the option of bringing your own music the Vegas Pub Crawler is a great fun way to do a pub crawl in Downtown Las Vegas and get to see some of the city besides what's on the strip. The downtown cycle pub is a great idea that fits perfectly into the new downtown bar district. With the opportunity to book anywhere from two hours to the whole night the possibilities are endless. This cycle can hold anywhere from six to fifteen friends for an unforgettable adventure.

Meet at:
Pizza Rock
201 N 3rd St
Downtown Las Vegas

Our driver let us in on a little secret. The Vegas Pub Crawler will be expanding very soon! They will have another cycle that will go approximately 30 mph with some great upgraded enhancements. We've personally never done anything like this before it was a great experience for both of us. This company was wonderful to work with and accommodated our needs without hesitation. They are open seven days a week from 12pm to 2am, book your 2-3 hour slot today with Vegas Pub Crawler!

Car Prep: 5 Important Tips To Teach Your Child Before They Leave For College

Summer is winding down, and millions of American parents will see their kids off to college this fall. But beyond financial tips, what do kids need to know about their cars so that they don't end up stranded on a dark and lonely road?

The car repair experts at RepairPal [www.repairpal.com (http://repairpal.com/)] — a nationwide network of certified, pre-screened repair shops on a mission to help you find a fair price for quality work — have a critical checklist for your teens and young adults:

 1.  HELP THEM FIND A MECHANIC NEAR THE COLLEGE
You'll need to find a trustworthy and safe local mechanic, but walking into the first shop that you find on Google in a new city is like rolling the dice. Teach them to do their homework by searching for a shop with certified technicians who will make sure your 'baby' is in safe hands.

2.  TEACH THEM THE 'MAGIC NUMBER'
Teach them to research average repair prices before they have to visit any shop for repairs and tell them to beware of any prices much higher or lower than the average (which may signal low quality parts or potential over billing).

3.  KEEP THEIR CAR FULLY STOCKED
Make sure your kid's car is fully equipped with the following safety materials:

  • An inflated spare tireA tire iron
  • The car manual
  • A spare key
  • Materials for cold weather driving, like blankets, gloves, and tire chains (if necessary)

 4.  TEACH THEM ABOUT WARRANTIES
Because a poorly-executed repair could put them back in the shop just weeks later, they should always choose a shop that offers an excellent warranty in case anything goes wrong. RepairPal independently certifies auto repair shops nationwide for superior training, quality tools, fair pricing and a minimum 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.

5.  REMIND THEM OF THE GAS LAW
Their gas gauge should never go below a quarter tank - it shortens the life of the fuel pump and they'll be in for costly repairs down the road. Teach them the importance of caring for their gas tank, particularly if they're traveling in bad weather or on a long road trip. RepairPal is a great option for students in that it also offers roadside assistance in case they're ever in trouble.

Dick's Last Resort at the Excalibur in Las Vegas #Review.

Dick's Last Resort, also known as 'The Shame O' The Strip' in Las Vegas offered a very eventful and  memorable dining experience while visiting SinCity. Well known for their rowdy wait staff and zanny decor. The staff at Dick's Last Resort are beyond hilarious and if you tend to be easily offended I wouldn't recommend going. With live music on the weekends and happy hour from 3-5pm. This let-loose atmosphere is the ultimate place to kick back and enjoy a few laughs on the house.

If you dare, allow the waitstaff at Dick's Last Resort to personalize a fashionably foolish paper hat that's guaranteed to not only make your friends laugh at you but yourself later when you have the opportunity to take a look. Over the years, I've seen others photos at Dick's Last Resort and I've always wanted to join in on the fun. Emily, at Dick's Last Resorted offered Dinner on Dick's which included: one appetizer, two entrees, two nonalcoholic beverages, and two delicious desserts on the house.

Hours:
Sunday - Thursday
11:00am - 11:00pm
Friday & Saturday
11:00am - 12:00am

For More Information Call:

We loved' Dick's and hope you have the opportunity to check out Dick's Last Resort sometime soon! Dick's Last Resort is a lot of fun if you have the right attitude. I'd definitely recommend adding this establishment to your bucket-list. You might be insulted by the waitstaff or your own party, but it will totally be worth it.

Prepare Your Kids for Summer Burglary Season

Nearly 2 million home burglaries are reported in the United States each year, and the

majority of these burglaries occur in the summer months. The scariest part of this statistic

for parents is the summertime rise in home break-ins typically correlates with when their

children are home without an adult.

A recent U.S. Census Bureau report illustrated that 7 million of the nation's 38 million

children between the ages of 5 and 14 are left home alone on a regular basis. And in

married-couple families with children, 60% of both parents work, confirming that

summer is when children are most likely to be home alone while school is on break.

The Force Training Institute (FTI) provides protection and safety training for some of the

nation’s most important assets and largest companies. The safety and security experts at

FTI have created the following tips parents can use to teach their children how to respond

if a break-in occurs when they are home alone this summer.

Role Play and Discuss: One of the most important things parents can do to prepare a

child to learn the proper way to respond to a break-in is to practice. Just like schools have

fire and other emergency drills, households should do the same. Parents should talk to

their children about the proper way to respond to a break-in, and then conduct a

scenario with the child while providing direction and support.. The scenario does

not need to be frightening as it is meant to build the child’s confidence and decision-

making.

Retreat: The first thing children should be taught about a break-in is to move the

opposite direction of an intruder. Even if a child is older, he or she does not know what

the intruder’s intent is or if the person has a weapon.

Grab Communications: Whether it is a portable home phone, a cell phone, or a tablet,

kids should also be concentrating on grabbing a means of communication to call for help

as they are getting away from the intruder and moving to another part of the home.

Barricade: Once they have moved away from the location the break-in occurred at,

children should find a secure place to barricade themselves into. This could be a

bedroom, bathroom or closet. Any room that has only one door that can be locked and

barricaded with a chair or other piece of furniture is suitable.

Try to be Invisible: Hiding under a bed, inside a coat in the back of a closet, in a dirty

laundry hamper, or under blankets and pillows on a messy bed are all good options for

camouflage. Teach kids to be as small, hidden and quiet as possible.

Call for Help: If possible during the break-in situation, teach children to first send a text

message for help to parents, family members or a trusted neighbor or family friend asking

for help and for the person to call 911 to come to your home. Make sure your child

knows to turn the volume off on a phone or tablet so device noises do not give away a

hiding place. If it is not possible to send a text for help, teach kids to call 911 and whisper

they need help, tell the operator a break-in is happening, they are home alone, and their

address.

Use Basic Self-Defense: In the event an intruder tries to physically harm a child during a

break-in, parents should prepare their children to know basic self-defense skills that could

save their lives. If an intruder is trying to cause harm or kidnap a child, he or she should

know to scream as loud as possible, try to hit the intruder in the groin, eyes or nose, to not

be afraid to bite, and to never stop moving, kicking and squirming to try and get away.
