The Sodastream Soda Maker helps you create your own soda. You can also choose from diet soda or sparkling water. This system didn't take much effort to put together. I pretty much took it out of the box and inserted the CO2 cylinder in the back and it worked without any hassles.
The instructions state to chill the water -- so we did this step. If you decide to not chill the water you will notice a big difference. It's way better when it's chilled. Then we used the Sodastream to add carbonation and chose a flavor. You should let it set for a few minutes prior to tasting it as it's freshly made and carbonated.
The flavors basically tasted just like the name brands. However, the Cola flavor was a little off. It was still pretty good tasting! Nick really liked the Ginger Ale!
Overall: This machine is a must have for soda lovers! Sodastream will save you tons of money and as I previously stated it taste pretty comparable to the top brand name companies on the market! It's also a perfect invention that helps save the environment. It's a way to go green considering you will no longer need to dispose or recycle the aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
